Meta Q3 Call: Partnership Ads Hit a $15B Run Rate

By the Power Ads operators23 Oct 20262 min read

Beyond the headline revenue numbers, Meta's Q3 2026 earnings call on October 21 gave advertisers a list of product figures. Partnership ads have passed a $15 billion annual revenue run rate, nearly doubling in a year, and Meta attributed conversion gains to several new ranking models. Here is what was said and how it should shape Q4 testing.

Partnership ads are now a major format

Meta said partnership ads revenue grew over 97% year over year and passed a $15 billion annual run rate. The creator marketing hub has rolled out to all advertisers, with more than 10 million creators discoverable.

That size suggests creator-led creative is no longer a niche add-on. Partnership ads run through a creator's handle, so the ad carries their identity alongside yours, which often reads more like organic content than a brand post.

Conversion gains Meta credited to ranking

Meta attributed conversion lifts to several models in delivery. These are Meta's own measurements across targeted segments, not guaranteed results for any single account, but they show where the delivery system is changing.

  • Generative Recommender on Facebook feed: nearly 2% more conversions in targeted segments
  • JEM ads ranking: 1.7% more off-site conversions and 9.6% more app ad conversions
  • Andromeda improvements: 1.4% more conversions
  • Nearly 10 million advertisers used at least one generative AI creative tool

Business AI and Q4 outlook

Meta said advertisers who acted on Meta AI Business Assistant recommendations saw almost 5% more conversions at the same cost per conversion, and raised spend 9% compared with similar advertisers who didn't. Adoption of video generation tools grew 25% quarter over quarter.

Meta guided Q4 revenue to $73 billion to $76 billion. Threads time spent per user grew over 20% year over year, though Meta gave no Threads ad revenue figure.

How to use this

If you haven't tested partnership ads, Q4 is a sensible time to start with a few creators from the marketing hub, measured against your standard creative in the same campaign. Treat Business Assistant suggestions as hypotheses to test, not settings to accept wholesale. Meta's comparison is with similar non-adopters, so it does not show cause and effect. With AI enhancements now covered by stricter terms from October 30, review what each recommendation actually changes before you apply it.

What it means for you

  • Partnership ads passed a $15B run rate and grew 97%, so creator-led creative deserves a test budget.
  • Meta's ranking gains are self-reported averages. Validate them in your own split tests.
  • Business Assistant recommendations are worth reviewing but should not be applied blindly.
  • Q4 guidance of $73B to $76B points to a crowded holiday auction.
