Offline Conversions

Conversion events that happen outside a website or app, such as a phone sale or in-store purchase, uploaded back to Meta.

Offline Conversions let a business report actions that happen away from a tracked digital surface — a phone-closed sale from a lead, an in-store purchase, or a deposit confirmed by a back-office system — by uploading that data (matched via email, phone, or other identifiers) back into Meta so campaigns can be optimized against real business outcomes, not just the initial lead or click.

This is essential for lead-gen and iGaming verticals where the ad only ever produces a lead or a sign-up, and the actual valuable outcome (a closed sale, a funded deposit) happens later through a separate sales or back-office process; without offline conversion uploads, Meta's algorithm never learns which leads actually turned into revenue.
