Billing Cycle

The recurring period over which ad spend accumulates before being invoiced or charged.

A billing cycle defines how often charges are collected — commonly monthly for standard accounts, but agencies managing large spend often negotiate more frequent cycles for better cash-flow visibility and risk control. Meta's default is a mix of threshold-based charges and a final charge at the end of the calendar billing period.

Power Ads charges its 4% management fee at the moment of each top-up rather than through periodic invoicing, which keeps cash flow tight and reconciliation immediate at $100k+/mo spend levels — the fee is known and settled before funds ever reach the ad balance, rather than accumulating into a larger periodic reconciliation.
